We will be conducting Vision Screenings next Monday, September 22nd for Kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grades as well as all new students to the district. Please make sure your student is wearing their glasses on this day for their exam.
In September, our speech-language pathologist, Melissa Davis, will be conducting hearing screenings for new students and kindergarten students who were not screened in the spring.

If you would prefer your child not to be tested, please reach out to the office.

Objectives of the Screening Program

- Identify students with hearing deficits.

- Determine the need for evaluation and diagnosis.

- Determine appropriate interventions to assist the student in the classroom.

- Provide information to parents/guardians regarding their child.

In early October, 1st and 3rd grade students will participate in a hearing screening and results will be shared before parent-teacher conferences.
